Nano

A life organiser that expects you to disappear.

Most productivity apps are built for the version of you that keeps using them. This one is built for the three weeks you did not open it — and for the morning you come back.

Dentist

Tuesday 13 October · 9:30

A rough preview, running entirely in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere. The real one reads far more than this, and puts it in your calendar.

What it actually does

A brief each morning

What is actually happening today, in a few lines — not a list of everything you have ever written down.

Write it how you say it

“dentist tuesday half nine” becomes a real appointment, at the right time. Photograph a letter and the date comes out of it.

A weekly review that is honest

What you actually did, not what you meant to. It will tell you a goal has not moved in a month.

Coming back

When you have been away, Nano does not greet you with a broken streak, forty-one overdue items in red, or a number counting how many days you failed. It shows you a short screen: here is what is still true, here is what has passed and no longer matters, here is one thing to do today. Then it gets out of the way.

Nothing is deleted and nothing is scored. The gap is not treated as a failure, because it is not one — it is just a gap.

How the money works

The organiser is free forever and takes no card. Paid plans start at £9.99 a month and renew until you cancel — we email you before every charge, cancelling takes fewer clicks than subscribing did, and you keep what you paid for until the period ends. You can export everything, at any time, on any plan, without asking anyone.

What Nano will not do

  • No streaks, no scores, no counting the days you missed.
  • No notification designed to make you feel bad enough to open the app.
  • No fake reviews or invented testimonials — when there are real ones, they will have names on them.
  • No selling your data, and no training anything on your journal.
  • No trial that quietly turns into a subscription. The free plan is free and stays free.
  • No cancel flow that asks you three times. Settings, one confirm, done.

Whether it works

We do not know yet. Nano is new and has no numbers worth quoting, so there are none on this page. When there are — how many people are still here after ninety days, and how many are not — they will be published here, whatever they say.

Nano is a productivity tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and it is not a substitute for care from someone qualified to give it.
